This month, the Explorers have been learning all about stories for their monthly topic. They chose our favourite stories which included We’re Going On A Bear Hunt, Have You Seen My Potty, Dinosaur Roar and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Many thanks to everyone who attended the Summer Fair last weekend. The event was a great success, and despite the dark rain clouds we managed to stay dry (well, apart from Mr Copestick and Mr Barnes!).

Reception class started the new year 2017 learning about “La fête des rois” -The Epiphany and the delicious “Galette” cake!

The Toddlers decided to learn about one of their favourite stories last week in 'We’re Going On A Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury.
This was the first match for the younger girls as their previous one was cancelled due to bad weather, so they were very excited and eager to play.
This has become a main summer event for us and we were one of the thirty one teams from across the Midlands area taking part at the magnificent Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.
Grandparents made a return to the classroom recently, as part of a special coffee morning organised for grandparents of children in our Early Learners and Reception class.
Edenhurst was delighted to welcome representatives from nine of our partner Senior Schools last week as part of our commitment to supporting parents in choosing the right school for their children post-11+.
I can’t believe how quickly Camp Edenhurst came around! It doesn’t seem like long ago that we were recovering from the excitement of last year.
Mrs. Kaniewski, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Mair led assemblies throughout the term to enable the children to see and hear the range of instruments available to them to learn at Edenhurst.
Our “Special Visit” from the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music, as the exam board call it, was held over 2 days this year due to a record number of students entered for examination - 32 in total.
