We were invited to take part in a Bellevue Schools initiative in the form of a Writing Competition, so we gave the children a range of writing tasks and selected two from each class to be considered to be entered.

On 18th March 2017, Speech and Drama students from Edenhurst performed at the Newcastle-under-Lyme Festival of Speech and Drama.

Prep 5 and Prep 6 enjoyed linking up with the choir from Forest Preparatory School in Timperley for a joint Choral Day, led by renowned conductor of the Hallé Children's Choir, Mrs. Shirley Court.
This year pupils from Prep. 4 and 5 received instructions from the Bikeability Staff who visited School on Thursday and Friday.
We took a sidestep on World Book Day this year and didn't ask the children to come in costumes. The reason was straightforward - we wanted to focus on the love of books and reading, rather than on who they would dress up as.

For the topic of animals, the Explorers have been looking at sea life and all the wonderful creatures that live under the sea.
In our Nursery the children enjoy regular singing and music and movement activities, which help to build on their confidence and communication skills. By singing in groups they are building on interaction.
We are working incredibly hard towards our Eco Schools awards. This term the Eco council have met an updated our Eco Action plan detailing all of our aims this year (displayed on our dedicated notice board in the dining room).
