Almost fluent in French now, Reception class enthusiastically enter the classroom “La petite France” with huge smiles, singing and doing actions to their instructions song  “Ecoutez!”.

This year has been very successful in our work towards becoming a ‘Green Flag’ Eco school. We awarded 32 children with the ‘Outstanding Eco Achievement award’ and we began work at the allotment.

Form 1 had a thoroughly enjoyable trip to Quarry Bank Mill on a beautiful, Autumnal day. The purpose of the visit was to investigate and work with a range of natural materials.

Our new Reception children have had a very busy half term.

We voted to choose our favourite nursery rhyme, which was Incy Wincy, and then sequenced the story and made a class dance about it.
