All of the girls in years 5 and 6 were hosts to The Ryley’s Team on Wednesday. It was the first playable match in a while, with previous fixtures being cancelled because of the weather. Everyone was keen to play again!
At Edenhurst, Senior School entrance is very much a process, and one that begins long before the exams in Prep 6. The parents of those currently in Prep 5 are speaking with Mr Copestick about future plans and potential schools post-Edenhurst
We have had an amazing year since September.
All pupils engaged in learning about our world through the World’s Largest Lesson with themes ranging from litter to climate change. This was very exciting and the whole school enjoyed this event.
Year 6 pupils from Edenhurst Prep School, Forest Prep School and Forest Park Prep School, took part in a Collaborative Learning Day recently, as part of a new initiative designed designed to enhance their experience of the English Curriculum.
A few weeks ago Wedgwood house worked together to create bunting that read “Edenhurst Prep School loves Wedgwood Pottery” and sent it into the company.
A World War One expert kindly agreed to give a talk to the Prep 5 children as part of their History lesson on Monday 5th February.
It was our the 2nd round of fixtures in NJFL and the boys were after recording their first victory in the league. With the weather conditions very challenging the mix for Prep 4-6 children played some excellent football.
On Friday 26th January Prep 3 visited Chester to experience life as a Roman for the day. We started at the Grosvenor Museum and had a Roman workshop.

There were some Year 6 girls missing from this team due to Entrance Exams so we travelled to this fixture with a very mixed age group consisting of year 4-6 girls.
This year we shall be performing our School Play in the Hilary Term. There was great excitement in Prep 6 last week when Mrs. Jones came in, handed out the scripts and announced the parts for....'Brilliant The Dinosaur!'
