This term, eight enthusiastic pupils from Prep 3 to Prep 6 have been making a splash at our brand-new Astbury Lake After-School Club! Each week, the children have taken to the water to enjoy a variety of exciting activities, including kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding.
Their confidence and teamwork have grown with every session, and it has been wonderful to see them embracing new challenges in such a beautiful outdoor setting.
As the evenings draw in, the final two weeks of the club will move to land-based bushcraft activities, where pupils will learn practical outdoor skills and enjoy time in nature from a different perspective.
It has been a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to develop resilience, cooperation, and a love of the outdoors we can’t wait to see what adventures await next term with our new after-school climbing activity!
