We were thrilled to welcome Mr Atkinson, our Bellevue ICT Lead for Indi Car sessions! From Kindergarten to Prep 6, children enjoy hands-on coding challenges that combine programming, problem-solving and creative thinking. This year, Prep 5 and 6 tackled Indi Car tracks for an extra challenge, learning to plan, test, and refine their instructions to make the cars perform as intended.
Practical coding from a young age helps children develop key skills such as logical thinking, resilience, and problem-solving. By experimenting, debugging, and seeing the immediate results of their coding, pupils gain confidence and a sense of achievement. These sessions are not only enjoyable but also give children a solid foundation in computing and STEM, inspiring curiosity and innovation from the very start.
