Pupil Blog: The Fun Christmas Tree Farm

Posted: 28th November 2025

On Monday 24th November my class, Prep 6, got to go to Keele Christmas Tree Farm. We had a splendid time. When we arrived, we saw the humongous Christmas tree at the entrance, then a member of staff came and greeted us.

She gave us a sheet and a pencil to do the Elf Hunt. There were 8 elves to find and we worked in pairs to try and find all of them. If you completed the elf hunt then you could get a prize of glitter, rubbers or temporary Christmas tattoos. We also had a look around the Christmas shop. All the things there were really nice. Next we had hot chocolate to warm us up. It was so delicious. Following the tasty hot chocolate we got to pick out the Christmas tree.

We had to get one for the nursery and one for the main school entrance. The first one we picked out had to be 7 feet tall – the people who worked there helped us find the perfect tree. The Christmas trees were put into a net for delivery. After a really fun time it was time to leave – we had the best time ever!
