Pupil Blog: Alice Charity Cereal Box Domino Drive

Posted: 15th November 2025

On Friday the 14th November there was a cereal box domino drive for Alice Charity in our school hall where members of the school community were invited to donate as many cereal boxes as they wanted (there were 59 in total). The day before the cereal box dominos we had a test run where we put all the boxes in one big line and checked if it actually worked (it worked very well!). Then the next day we set it up in the hall and it almost went from one side of the hall all the way to the other! As soon as it hit 9:00am we all went down to the hall where we were greeted by Debbie, who works for Alice Charity and she held an assembly about the charity (it was very interesting). Then I came forward to push the first cereal box down – one by one they came toppling over. After the assembly we collected the cereal boxes and loaded them into Debbie’s car. Then she drove off and took all of the cereal boxes to the Alice Charity food bank.
