Our Form 1, Form 2 and Prep 3 pupils have been enthusiastically taking part in the Mini and Junior Duke Awards. This brilliant scheme is designed to help children develop independence, confidence and a whole range of valuable life skills.
Through a series of fun and practical challenges, pupils are encouraged to ‘have a go’ at new experiences, problem-solve and take pride in their achievements. So far, activities have included baking tasty treats, creating delicious sandwiches, handwashing clothes, building wooden models, and even experimenting with papier mâché!
It’s been wonderful to see the children’s creativity and determination shining through as they learn these important skills for everyday life. But most importantly, we’ve had great fun along the way.
