Edenhurst Preparatory School has confirmed a fee freeze for Reception places for the 2025/26 academic year, underlining its commitment to delivering high-quality early years education at a competitive and accessible price point.
The decision follows a comprehensive review of the current economic climate and parents’ feedback, ensuring that families can continue to access the school’s exceptional academic and pastoral provision without an increase in cost.
Reception fees remain at £4,254 per term (including VAT), with wraparound care from 7:30am to 6:00pm included at no extra charge. The all-inclusive fee also covers lunches and curriculum supplies, offering significant value to working parents who are seeking excellence in education alongside flexibility in childcare.
To support affordability, the school provides a monthly payment plan that spreads fees across 11 months. Additionally, Early Education Funding (EEF) is automatically applied to the invoice for all eligible pupils up to and including the term in which they turn five. For the 2024/25 Michaelmas (Autumn) term, this reduced the payable fee by £1,108.80, bringing the termly total to £3,145.20, or £786.30 per month over four instalments (excluding trips and insurance).Families entitled to the extended 15-hour funding may receive a further reduction of up to £1,108.80.
To support families throughout the year, Edenhurst also offers a teacher-led Holiday Club during all school holidays – Edventures. Parents who opt to spread their school fees over 11 months can include an annual Edventures subscription.
Headteacher Emma Mousley commented: “We fully recognise the financial commitment involved in choosing an independent education. Our revitalised fee structure reflects our desire to balance long-term sustainability with affordability for families, without compromising on the outstanding education, care and opportunities we offer every child.”
Reception pupils at Edenhurst benefit from small class sizes, a seamless transition from the school’s Nursery, and specialist teaching in Music, French, PE and Swimming. Learning is enriched by weekly Forest School sessions, a play-based curriculum, and regular trips and themed days, all designed to inspire and engage.
