Me professionally:
I qualified as a Nursery Nurse in 2001 and moved to Edenhurst in 2005 when the new Nursery opened. I have worked in the Baby Room and Explorers Room before moving into the Toddler Room for 13 years! During this time I studied for a degree one night a week for 5 years and graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Early Childhood Studies in 2012. I was promoted to Nursery Manager in 2019 and my particular interests include attachment of young children and comfort objects (the subject of my dissertation). |
Me personally:
I enjoy travelling to different places on my holidays and my favourite place to visit is New York! I enjoy cruises as it gives you the chance to see lots of different places all in the space of a week. Some of the places I have been to visit are Tutankhamun’s tomb and to the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I like to relax by visiting day spas and spending the day swimming and reading. My favourite food is Cadbury’s chocolate! |
Random fact about me:
I have a green Blue Peter badge from school. Mrs Whitmore in School is my cousin-in-law. I attended the match when Manchester United set the record for biggest win in the Premier League, 9-0 against Ipswich Town in 1995. |
