The Little Learners have been very excited this month as we have been learning about a new topic: Outer Space!
We decorated our own space rocket using silver paint and a shiny roof and then put on our astronaut helmet ready to use our imagination and take off! We used our thinking skills to think about what we might find in outer space and created our own moon with puffy paint. We also talked about how other planets might feel different to Earth and explored different textures such as shaving foam, glitter and jelly in sensory bags. We were most excited at our tea party where we wore our alien hats and ate green cakes with orange icing. We thought they were delicious despite the strange colours!
