It has been a very busy and successful term for sport at Edenhurst, with pupils taking part in a wide range of fixtures and competitions.
Our High 5 Netball team represented the school at the School Games tournament held at Keele University. The team produced an excellent performance, securing wins against NULS, St Wulstan’s and Our Lady & St Werburgh’s. Throughout the tournament, pupils demonstrated outstanding teamwork, resilience and determination. They should be extremely proud of their efforts. The second round of fixtures will take place next term.
We also enjoyed great success in the School Games Indoor Athletics competition at Newcastle Academy. Pupils competed across a variety of events and showed commitment and enthusiasm throughout. Their combined efforts resulted in Team Edenhurst winning the competition overall. As a result, we have now qualified for the county finals, which will take place on 27th February at Fenton Manor.
Well done to all pupils involved and to Team Edenhurst.
