It’s been a busy and exciting first half term back at Edenhurst, with our pupils proudly representing the school in a range of sporting events, including the School Games Cross Country, Football, Hockey, and the ISA Swimming Gala.
Our Cross Country team put in some outstanding performances against strong competition, with fantastic results across the board. Each race had over 30 pupils taking part. We are thrilled to share that we achieved 2nd place in the Prep 5 Girls’ race, 4th place in the Prep 6 Girls’ race, and 5th place in the Prep 6 Boys’ race. A huge well done to everyone who took part.
We also celebrate success in the ISA Swimming Gala, where Spreeha, one of our Prep 4 pupils, achieved an amazing 1st place in her breaststroke heat and finished 2nd overall and 1st in her backstroke, meaning she will represent the West Midlands in the national swimming gala in London on the 28th November. What a tremendous accomplishment! Congratulations to Spreeha and to the whole Edenhurst swimming team for their effort, enthusiasm, and excellent performances throughout the day.
Well done to all our young athletes for representing Edenhurst. What a fantastic start to the school year!
