Kindergarten Summer Concert Delight

Posted: 23rd May 2024

The Kindergarten class eagerly anticipates their annual summer concert, and this year was no exception! The delightful performance was titled What the Ladybird Heard on Holiday.

The story revolved around two mischief-makers attempting to steal the Queen’s jewels, only to be thwarted by clever animals.

Each child shone brightly, memorising lines, performing actions, and even playing musical instruments. The concert concluded with the animals triumphing and the would-be thieves, Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len, leaving empty-handed.

The children’s enthusiasm was palpable as they sang their hearts out, even treating the audience to an encore of The Lion Sleeps Tonight, complete with joyful swaying.

A big thank you to Mrs. Bradley, Mrs. Morris, and Miss Dundas for their dedication, and to Mr. Green for stepping in as our pianist. The concert was a resounding success, enjoyed by all parents and grandparents in attendance!
