Discover Excellence in Education at Edenhurst Preparatory School

Posted: 26th September 2023

Edenhurst Preparatory School is holding an Open Week from Monday, October 2nd to Friday, October 6th.

The Open Week aims to help prospective families get a taste of what life could be like for their child at Edenhurst.

Emma Mousley, Headteacher at Edenhurst, said, “We understand the importance of choosing a nursery or school for your child and truly believe that coming to visit is the best way to find out if Edenhurst is the right setting for your child.

“What sets Edenhurst apart is our commitment to small class sizes and the personalised approach to the learning and development of every child.

“Our small, family feel and dedicated staff team allows us to recognise and nurture each child’s individual strengths, making it a fun and happy environment for children’s growth and development.

“Specialist teachers in languages, science, art, music and PE develop key skills from Nursery all the way through to Prep 6. As a result, when children are ready to leave Edenhurst they take with them a multitude of skills that go far beyond the curriculum. Edenhurst children are articulate, well-mannered and confident. Children who can cope with whatever the world may throw at them.”

She added, “We are the opposite of an academic hot-house, yet we have a long and proud history in supporting children to achieve academic success and move on to the right senior school for them – with previous pupils moving on to leading Independent and Grammar schools across the region.”

“We are excited to welcome families to our school during Open Week. It’s a chance for parents and students to experience the warmth, excellence, and family feel that makes Edenhurst such a special place.”

“If you are unable to visit during Open Week, remember we are always open to visit, so please contact us to book a tour at a time to suit you,” said Mrs. Mousley.
