Our Prep 6 children recently travelled to Brabyns Prep School in Marple, near Stockport, to take part in the annual Bellevue North Schools Sport Jamboree.
The pupils spent the morning at Brabyns Tennis Club before having lunch, then travelled the short distance to Marple Cricket Club for the afternoon activities. During the day, the pupils took part in a number of exciting challenges and activities and showed excellent determination, teamwork and sporting skills! It was a lovely opportunity for reunions as well: a number of Prep 6 children from both schools had been away on the Ski Trip this year and all enjoyed getting reacquainted.
At the end of the day, the children enjoyed some free time on Brabyns’ B.F.G. (Big Friendly Garden) outdoor play area. Everyone had a great day and it was lovely to see the children working so well in teams with each other and their peers from Brabyns, as they prepare for the move to senior schools.
Many thanks to Mr Sanders and all at Brabyns for hosting this now traditional event! Next year’s is already in the diary.
