As part of the EPTA’s aim to provide additional experiences and facilities for the children at Edenhurst, a donation of £250 was made to the Nursery for them to invest in additional play equipment. This resulted in a new mud kitchen and picket fence arriving during the half term, purchased from landscapes4learning, which has now taken pride of place in the nursery playground.
Liz Whitmore, Acting Nursery Manager, said, “As a result of the kind gift from the EPTA, the mud kitchen is providing the children with additional learning opportunities through sensory, imaginative and creative play. They are already enjoying making and baking mud pies for all the nursery staff!”. Di Harrison, Vice Chair of the EPTA, added, “We are so pleased that the fundraising and kind contributions from parents, family and friends has been able to be put to good use in bringing lots of little smiles, giggles and fun to the children in the nursery! Well done everyone and thank you!”
Anyone looking to purchase any outdoor play equipment can receive a 10% discount from landscapes4learning by quoting ‘bellevue’ when placing an order over the phone or by email.
