The Edenhurst Ladies joined around 2,000 other runners on Tuesday 5th June to take part in Race for Life at the Trentham Estate, raising more than £200 towards life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life is a series of fundraising events organised by the charity Cancer Research UK. The event involves running, jogging or walking a 5-kilometre course and raising money to sponsor the charity.
Clair Wardle, School Secretary, organised the Edenhurst Ladies team. She said: “We take part in Race for Life every year, because we all know someone who has been affected by cancer. We have had so much support and the atmosphere is wonderful. We’ll be back next year!”
