Reception have already been very busy this term.

We learnt about the patron saint of England, and discussed our event to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday, which we will celebrate on her official birthday.

As part of our planting and growing topic we have planted cress and kept a daily diary, pansies, lettuce, radishes and sunflower seeds and also beans.

We have also been learning about Beatrix Potter and the story of Peter Rabbit.

We had a great maths lesson which involved finding radishes in the garden and we have also designed and made a seed packet, although some of the seeds did escape from some packets!

We have also designed a vegetable garden using the purple mash computer programme and sang some songs related to the topic.
