On Friday 26th September, our school community came together for our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning and cake sale. What a wonderful morning it was!
Prep 5 and Prep 6 pupils took on the exciting challenge of baking as part of their new Business and Economics curriculum, carefully costing out ingredients and developing their own pricing strategies for delicious creations such as brownies, cupcakes and rocky road. Their entrepreneurial flair, combined with generous donations from pupils, families and staff, made for an irresistible spread of treats.
The dining room was filled with chatter, laughter and, of course, plenty of cake. It was a lovely opportunity for parents, staff and pupils to catch up over a cuppa while supporting such an important cause.
We are delighted to share that together we raised an impressive £134 for Macmillan Cancer Support. A huge thank you to everyone who baked, bought and contributed.
