On the 16th April, my class went to the Peak Wildlife Park in Leek. We had a magnificent time! Firstly, we went to get some packets of food for the deers and the wallabies and we got to feed them. After we fed them, we went into the lemur enclosure. We had a workshop about lemurs and whilst we were having the talk one of them jumped onto my friend which scared me a lot, but it was also funny. Afterwards, we went into the goat pen. The goats were the scariest part because they surrounded me and my friends but thankfully we were brave and escaped them. Following that, we went to see the penguins being fed and swimming in the water (it was very cool). Next we went to see the capybaras and more walabies. Since we had some leftover food we decided to give it all to the wallabies (including the babies that sat in their mum’s pouches) and capybaras. Later we walked through the giant rabbit hutch (they are really cute) and my favourite rabbit was the large white rabbit. Finally, we spent the last part of the afternoon in the adventure park, which was the best part of the day because my whole class played hide and seek tag. Before we left, we went to the gift shop so I bought an icelolly and a caterpillar pop-it toy. We had a fantastic time at Peak wildlife.
