The Little Learners have been learning all about Outer Space this week. As part of our topic we have made rock cakes to use as moon rocks! The children used the scales to weigh the ingredients looking carefully to find the numbers they needed. We then tipped the ingredients into the bowl and took turns working together to mix it up. We also looked at the mixture changing colour and consistency. The best part was tasting the cake at the end. Everyone agreed they were delicious!
We have also decorated our own rocket ready to take off. The children had a fabulous time panting a large cardboard box with grey paint and adding the numbers ready to countdown to blast off!
