This week the Explorers turned into scientists as they put on their metaphorical white coats to carry out an experiment with milk and food colouring. We decided to use yellow and green food colouring as they are Autumn colours and the children all crowded around to watch as we poured it in. The children then used cotton wool buds to touch the milk and watched as the milk and food colouring moved away from the buds like magic. The children thought it was hilarious as the milk ran away from their cotton buds when they chased it around.
