Camp Edenhurst Adventure

Posted: 20th May 2026

Our recent Camp Edenhurst adventure was two full days packed with activities, teamwork and plenty of fun. From the moment we arrived, the children threw themselves into every challenge with enthusiasm and energy.

One of the first tasks was putting up the tents, which definitely tested everyone’s teamwork and communication skills. Once the tents were standing, the children took part in a variety of team challenges and games that encouraged cooperation, problem-solving and resilience. It was fantastic to see friendships growing even stronger as everyone worked together and supported one another throughout the camp.

The children also learned and practised a range of valuable outdoor skills, including fire-lighting, shelter-building and basic first aid. These activities gave everyone the chance to learn outside of the classroom, build confidence and resilience.

Although it rained on the first day, we were very lucky that the weather was not worse, and it certainly did not dampen anyone’s spirits. In fact, the rain probably added to the adventure and created even more memories to laugh about afterwards.

Of course, no camp would be complete without marshmallows around the fire, lots of laughter and staying up later than usual with friends. There may even have been a few late-night snacks along the way, but that was all part of the fun!

The children represented the school brilliantly throughout the trip and embraced every challenge with positivity and enthusiasm. Camp Edenhurst was a wonderful opportunity to make memories, strengthen friendships and enjoy learning in the great outdoors. Everyone returned home tired and happy!
