A Day in the Life of EPS’s Headteacher

I won Headteacher for the day in the Christmas Quiz and Effie won Deputy Head. Today I ran Celebration Assembly by giving out certificates and medals with my Deputy Head, Effie handing them to me.

After assembly had finished I had some tea and a chocolate biscuit. It was yummy! And then we did the pancake races. It was fun!

Effie and I supervised pre-prep at break time and then I ran a craft lesson for Prep 3 for Valentine’s Day. The craft was a card which popped out and gave you a hug. Later it was lunch and I loved lunch because I chose what it was going to be – barbecue chicken, rice and sweetcorn. We also had ice cream in cones for pudding. After lunch break I returned to the office to write this blog for the Edenhurst Edge. It was then time to read stories to Kindergarten and Reception – I read Dogs Don’t Do Ballet. I ended the day with Walkie-Talkie duty at the gate, saying goodbye to everyone.
