Maths Day Returns to Edenhurst!

Posted: 23rd May 2025

Maths Day returned to Edenhurst this year! The morning started with a friendly competition between Prep 6 and some of our wonderful (and slightly competitive) parents. Their challenges included algebra, shape and number questions culminating in a timestables battle. Prep 6 worked brilliantly as a team but the parents proved to be tough opposition and were victorious.

All children from Kindergarten to Prep 6 took part in a Number Hunt with their families and friends outside in the sunshine, racing to complete a series of questions. This was followed by more Maths activities throughout the day: the pupils decorated t-shirts with their learning from this year, as well as playing bath-based games such as Mathopoly, Snakes and Ladders and Battleships.

The day ended with all pupils from Prep 3-6 takary Pirate game. This interactive game is full of cunning, strategy and Maths – with a pupil from Prep 4 finally winning!
