Prep 4 recently visited Cadbury World in Bournville for an exciting day learning about the origins of chocolate-making and experiencing life in a real chocolate factory. The pupils explored the Museum and enjoyed a thrilling 4D cinema experience. They also had the chance to get creative with melted chocolate, doodling with it and making their own chocolate flakes by spreading and scraping the chocolate as it cooled.
The children were treated to live demonstrations on how Dairy Milk bars are made and even tasted a pot of melted chocolate, adding their own delicious toppings! They also created their own ‘virtual chocolate bars’ on a fun ride around part of the Museum.
It was a fun, educational day that gave the pupils a behind-the-scenes look at the magic of chocolate-making!
