Located in the Westlands, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Edenhurst Preparatory School is a co-educational independent day school for pupils from age 3 months to 11 years.
The School was established in 1961 by the Copestick family, and over the decades has continued to evolve into a nurturing, family-orientated and academically excellent school.
At Edenhurst we benefit from small class sizes, which enables us to offer a more personalised approach to learning, and allows each child’s individual strengths to be nurtured.
Furthermore, we are committed to educating the ‘whole child’; our strong pastoral care system incorporates a structured Personal, Social and Health Education programme, including the School’s Core Values of Courtesy, Honesty, Respect, and Endeavour.
Children continue to achieve excellent 11+ results at Edenhurst.
We consistently achieve demonstrable success in getting Year 6 pupils offers for the senior schools of their choosing, with many awarded scholarships to notable Independent Schools.
