After months of preparation, the very first Bellevue Northern Music Festival took place on Monday 18th April at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
Prep. 4 have begun a new topic this term in History: The Victorians.
We have begun by looking at the dates in which Queen Victoria was on the throne and also looking at what life was like for children at this time.
On Monday a squad of 9 swimmers from Prep. 5 and 6 took part in the Newcastle Schools' Gala and returned with a clutch of medals and a trophy.
A team of Prep 5 and 6 girls travelled to Denstone Prep. School at Smallwood Manor for the first rounders match of the season.
Every year we set the challenge to complete a range of Eco activities at home and at school. Eco activities do not need to be expensive or time consuming.
In July 2015 we were offered a rather large plot at Lyme Valley allotments. We jumped at the chance and immediately took on the challenge (and what a challenge it has been!).
Reception have already been very busy this term.
To celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s 90th Birthday, the children in Nursery decided to have their own afternoon tea party.
As part of our Science studies, Form One has been finding out about how animals can be classified into groups. To learn more in a practical environment, the children travelled to Chester Zoo on a bright (well, brightish!) April morning.

The clock is busy ticking and each day Prep 6 remind me that we’re one day closer to our biennial trip to Barcelona. This will be the second occasion that we’ve run this visit and Mrs.
As part of our healthy eating topic we have been looking at the book Oliver’s Fruit Salad. We read the story and all completed a picture on Purple Mash to make and label a fruit salad.
