There were some Year 6 girls missing from this team due to Entrance Exams so we travelled to this fixture with a very mixed age group consisting of year 4-6 girls.
This year we shall be performing our School Play in the Hilary Term. There was great excitement in Prep 6 last week when Mrs. Jones came in, handed out the scripts and announced the parts for....'Brilliant The Dinosaur!'

We were delighted to welcome our alumnus William Midwinter back to Edenhurst last week to deliver a Sustainability Workshop for Preps 4, 5 and 6 linked to his current job as an Outreach Manager for World Volunteer.
A mixed team from Year 5 and 6 took part in the Newcastle Schools’ High 5 Tournament at Keele University. This is for boys and girls and is always a well attended event.
It has been a busy term for Prep 6 as they have been preparing for their 11+ exams and thinking about what lies ahead.
The Under 11s travelled to Beech Hall in Macclesfield for a netball fixture: it is the start of the season and the girls are trying to get used to playing together and some positions still need 'ironing out.’
Edenhurst Prep School is part of Bellevue Education. Each year an internal magazine is published and shared with staff across the group.

Edenhurst won two awards in the 2017 Newcastle In Bloom competition. We were overall winners in the 'Best Eco School category' and were awarded a Silver Gilt in the 'Allotments' category.
All of the Prep. 5 and 6 girls travelled to The Ryleys School near Alderley Edge to play in a friendly match. This was the first match for the mixed-age group team and some girls were playing in new positions.
