It was our the 2nd round of fixtures in NJFL and the boys were after recording their first victory in the league. With the weather conditions very challenging the mix for Prep 4-6 children played some excellent football. Playing 3 fixtures back to back they achieved their first victory against Knutton St Mary’s, a 1-0 win with an excellent goal from Elliot Westenborg. The 2nd match v. Friarswood was an exciting match with both teams coming close but ending in a goalless draw. With the energy levels fading for our final match v. Hugo Meynell the boys dug deep and played out the best match of the evening narrowly losing 4-3. Great to see how much this group is developing and getting better with every game they play. Well done!
