We’re going to the Zoo…
To finish our recent theme on Animals, the Toddlers decided to have a dressing up day where they would come to Nursery dressed as Animals! We had a monkey, elephant, lion, giraffe, cat, bear and even a zebra! We practiced making the different sounds of the animals and created lots of pictures. To promote our physical skills we used forks to decorate pictures of a lion’s mane and painted paper plate elephant faces. In outdoor play we used wooden sticks to make snakes in the sand and drew them using chalk. Our favourite story this week was also unsurprisingly “Dear Zoo” which we read many times and even used in our Animal treasure hunt!
