An Open Letter From The EPTA

Well what a start to the school year! Since October the new EPTA have been extremely busy; from creating a new branding (thank you Jo!) and social media presence on Twitter and Facebook to raising over £3000 with both the fashion show in November and the Christmas Fayre in December – there hasn’t been time for much else! But as a result of everyone’s hard work we have been able to: purchase a lifesaving defibrillator, donate £250 to the School council, purchase a mud kitchen and a picket fence for the Nursery, tools for the Eco Council and books for all the children at Christmas!  Not bad for three months’ work. I would like to say a massive well done to the dedicated, fantastic and talented EPTA team and a great big thank you to everyone for supporting us! We couldn’t have done it without you!

With all that under our belts, this new term is shaping up to be as busy as the last! With plans already afoot for a Summer Ball, children’s trips away, and a facelift for the Uniform+ shop we really do need as much help as possible! If you would like to get involved and donate your time and skills, and make a few new friends along the way (we are a friendly bunch!) it would be great to see you at our next meeting on Monday 4th February at 6.30pm in the School Dining Hall! Haven’t got any cover for the kids?  Childcare is provided by the school whilst we discuss upcoming events and debate new ideas! We also have hot drinks and a few cheeky cakes provided (thank you Melissa!)

Finally I would like to say a big thank you to Mr Hibbert for his support and encouragement. His guidance and reassurance has enabled us to test out some new ideas and think big! And to Mrs Heyhoe and Mr Barnes for their commitment and advice over the last three months – working together really has been a recipe for success!

Looking forward to seeing what we achieve this term!
