The U11 team finally got their season on the way against The Ryleys after two previous postponements (Newcastle JS and Old Hall) due to weather conditions. What a start it was! Joseph S won the toss and decided to have a bowl.

After giving an exceptional performance at the ISA Kwik Cricket Tournament, held at Moddershall Cricket Club, the boys of year 5/6 were able to achieve an amazing 3rd place out of 16 in their debut at this tournament.

The topic in May in Reception is minibeasts. We are now able to name lots of minibeasts, say how they move and name their body parts.

On a very sunny day this week the Nursery children had two very special visitors: Chops and Shaun the Sheep. When they arrived we heard bleating outside as they walked around Nursery to the garden. What could it be?
Prep 3 had a wonderful day in the beautiful surroundings of Lyme Park. The park has a varied landscape, from manicured gardens to wild woods.
A team of eager Rounders players from Prep. 3, 4 and 5 travelled to Yarlet, near Stone, for their first rounders fixture. For the younger girls it was a chance to compete in an inter-school match for the first time.
A mixed U8/U9 team travelled to The Ryleys for what turned out to be the first fixture of the cricket season, due to other games being called off. Playing Kwik Cricket rules, we won the toss and decided to bowl.
On Thursday, Prep. 4 went to Pizza Express in Stafford as part of their Food Technology work. There they were given pizza ingredients to sample and learned about where the ingredients were sourced.
