Aims and Ethos
Edenhurst aims to provide a warm, safe and friendly environment in which children will flourish within a happy family school.

The School aims to offer a high quality all-round education, supported by a dedicated and caring team of staff, in which children’s individual needs are met. For example, children with dyslexia benefit from tuition from our qualified specialist teacher and a Gifted and Talented programme further extends those pupils of high ability.

We aim to identify and nurture children’s strengths in music, drama and sport.

The school values highly its commitment to educating the ‘whole child’. A strong pastoral care system, underpinned by Christian principles, incorporates a structured Personal, Social and Health Education programme including the School’s Values of Courtesy, Honesty, Respect and Endeavour.

The school has high expectations of the children and tries to challenge them constantly to aim high in all they do.

The school is proud of the confident, well-adjusted children who leave at the end of their time at Edenhurst, at which point it can demonstrably prove the ‘value-added ‘ element of the educational provision.
