On the exact day of the 50th Anniversary of Edenhurst, a photograph of the Founders, Bill and Sylvia Copestick was unveiled by Mr. Simon Hodgkinson, recently retired Deputy Head.

Mr. Copestick explained to the children how the school had first opened when he was 10 years old and one of the first pupils.

Mr. Hodgkinson had worked as a teacher at the school for 42 years! He also told the children that Mr. and Mrs. Copestick (Senior) had taught him at Lawton Hall School.

The children were fascinated by the stories!

Also pictured in front of the photo and plaque is Alice Copestick - grand daughter of the Founders and daughter of the Headmaster.
