On Thursday 8th December, a group of pupils from Prep III and IV (Y5&6) took part in the Aviva Sportshall Athletics Championships which were held at Keele University.

Events included javelin, long jump, triple jump, vertical jump, speed bounce, sprints, relays and hurdles. All pupils worked extremely hard and enjoyed new and challenging races.

Nine schools took part and the Edenhurst team won our section so we will now go on to represent Newcastle-under-Lyme in the Regional Finals at a later date. Congratulations to all!
